The master of ceremony, Gajen, ‘Malaysia’s First Chindian Comedian’, is no stranger to the limelight, appearing in Monash’s student magazine Monga, getting interviewed by Capital FM, and even having NTV7 film a documentary about his career as a stand-up comedian. Surely the worth-to-mention achievement by Gajen is being one of the youngest comedians in the local comedy scene. Remarkable!
Brian Tan has, over the years of performing around the Malaysian comedy scene, developed a unique brand of comedy that sets him apart from most acts. Branded as a one-liner comedian, his humour style is derived from daily observations and is endowed with a rare snappy sense of humour and a vivacious flair for comedy.
Kavin Jay, one of Malaysia’s most underrated comics and a former Radio Announcer at RedFM, is a rapid-fire grumpy joke telling machine. He voted as Malaysia’s ‘grumpiest’ comedian for his love/hate relationship with his life, love and country. You’ll chuckle as he pokes fun at just about everything. This grumpy macha will have you in stitches the minute he takes to the stage.
